Completion of the grace of Baptism
Confirmation is closely linked to Baptism and the Eucharist in the triad of initiation. The sacrament deepens the relationship with the Father, strengthens the union with Christ and the Church, and increases the gifts of the Holy Spirit.
The main ritual involves the laying on of hands, anointing with holy oil on the forehead, and a declaration that the recipient has received the seal of the Holy Spirit.

The power of the Holy Spirit not only brings about emotions but also helps believers profess their faith in word and deed, even when faced with difficult choices.
