The Seven Sacraments of Christ
The sacraments, stemming from the life and Paschal mystery of Christ, are entrusted to the Church for celebration. They nourish, heal, and send the faithful forth to serve.
The sacrament truly bestows grace because Christ himself is at work. The recipient needs to have the right attitude so that grace is not hindered and bears fruit.
Signs speak through the whole person.
Water, oil, light, color, music, words, gestures, and the liturgical space help the body participate in prayer. The liturgical year unfolds the entire mystery of Christ according to the rhythm of time.
There is legitimate diversity among liturgical traditions, but this diversity must preserve unity in faith, the sacraments, and ecclesial communion.
