It all begins with love.
The Christian faith proclaims that God freely created heaven and earth out of love. Creation is not random or meaningless: everything has its origin, order, and purpose in God.
Creativity is a gift. Humans do not possess the world absolutely, but are entrusted with the responsibility of cultivating, protecting, and using it wisely.
Each person possesses unique dignity.
Human beings are created in the image of God, capable of knowing, freely choosing, and loving. Therefore, everyone deserves respect, regardless of age, health, circumstances, or abilities.
Do I often view myself, others, and my environment as gifts or as things to be used at will?
Today, do one specific thing to care for someone and one thing to protect the environment around you.
Lord, grant me the grace to receive life with gratitude and to care for the work You have given me through responsible choices.
