The Giver of Life
The Holy Spirit is the Third Person of the Trinity. He helps us to know Jesus, to pray, to discern what is good, and to courageously bear witness to the Gospel.
Suggested reading: Acts 2:1-13. On the day of Pentecost, the Holy Spirit gathered the disciples and sent them to proclaim the Good News to all nations.
One body, many members
The Church is the People of God, the Body of Christ, and the Temple of the Holy Spirit. Each person has different vocations and abilities, but together they contribute to building communion and serving the mission.
The Church is both holy because it comes from God, and always in need of purification because it is composed of weak human beings.
What abilities am I using to build my family, classroom, or parish?
Holy Spirit, teach me to listen, to be united, and to have the courage to live what is right.
