Living the faith in community

Transform what you have learned into communion, service, and witness in your daily life.

Estimated time: 12 min

Faith needs to be lived together.

Christians do not walk alone. We receive faith from the community, we celebrate the liturgy together, support one another, and are sent out to serve others.

Key point

Communion does not mean everyone is the same. Communion means respecting differences, working together towards good, and not abandoning the vulnerable.

From lesson to action

A mature community knows how to listen, share responsibilities, resolve disagreements in truth and charity, and care for those who are not yet accepted.

Reflection

In my team, who is most likely to be overlooked or have the least opportunity to speak up?

Practice

Together with another person, choose and complete a small service during the week: visiting, cleaning, helping with studies, donating, or protecting the environment.

Prayer

Lord, make us one and help us use our individual abilities to serve the common good.
