Creation is good but not yet complete.
God created all good things and directed that work toward completion. Angels are spiritual creatures; human beings are a unity of body and soul, created male and female with equal dignity.
Freedom is being misused.
The Fall narrative depicts humanity doubting God's goodness and seeking to determine good and evil independently of Him. Original sin wounded human nature, inclining us toward sin, but it did not destroy freedom or dignity.
God does not create moral evil and does not take pleasure in suffering. He respects freedom, accompanies us in trials, and can bring good forth from painful circumstances.
Suggested reading: Genesis 3:1-24. Read it as a faith account of temptation, failure, and promise, not as a scientific description.
When I make a mistake, do I usually hide it, shift blame, or bravely admit my fault and seek reconciliation?
Identify a choice that is harming the relationship. Take the first step to correct it: tell the truth, apologize, make amends, or seek help.
